Mark Ascolese is a strategic, operations, and market aware Chief Executive Officer and Board member with a record of success focusing businesses to deliver bottom-line results in complex, rapidly changing environments. Mr. Ascolese has previously held the positions of; CEO at Active Power Inc. (ACPW) an uninterruptable power systems provider listed on NASDAQ, CEO of Power Analytics Corporation a hedge fund owned data analytics company, President of Eaton Power Systems a global electrical infrastructure provider to the Data Center and mission critical markets, and various management positions at the General Electric Company. Mr. Ascolese has extensive IPO experience at the executive level and has been involved in numerous M&A transactions during his career including both the buy side and sell side of transactions valued at over $1.5 billion dollars. Having run a number of global enterprises he has also had the opportunity to go into both the public and private markets to raise capital. He has also served on various for profit and non-profit boards including SGB Enterprises Inc. providing training components and systems to the aerospace market, International Battery, a lithium ion battery start up, DLT Solutions (Subsidiary of Tech Data) supplying software solutions to the government markets, Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster, a clean energy association, Triangle United Way, and The Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Business and Duke’s Fuqua School of Business Executive Management Program.
